Didn’t witness a fight in the cinema, unlike when I saw it on the big screen the first time (Slough in 1999 - the cinema had a bouncer), but… still glorious.
Terrific morning at the AJ Bell Great Bristol Run. Been carrying an injury in training and not sleeping well, so figured the achievement was just showing up, but - to my amazement - managed a personal best, completing the half-marathon in 1:49:04. Thank you for the shouts of “Come on Neville” from complete strangers in the crowd - just lovely. Plus support from my awesome daughter. #greatbristolrun #greatbristolhalf
This is a tender, sad, gripping film — a thriller of sorts, where heartbreak and intimacy are the stakes. Super performances from Tom Blyth and Maria Dizzia (plus a transformative and surprising supporting turn from Christian Cooke), while Russell Tovey is just quietly magnificent. Excited to see whatever Carmen Emmi (@carmenemmi ) makes next.
