Meet Alex, Neuron Ui/UX designer.
Alex’s path into design started with a love for architecture and visual thinking. Over time, that grew into an interest in animation, which naturally led to working across a wider design space. Today, Alex focuses on creating user experiences for apps, websites, and motion, bringing together structure, storytelling, and usability.
Outside of work, Alex finds inspiration in traveling, visiting art galleries, and spending time at music festivals.
Music has always been a big part of life, learning drums and bass guitar along the way, and even playing in a band with friends for a while. There’s a soft spot for classic British rock and Australian bands, with King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard high on the list!
These days, things look a little different, with more time spent enjoying parenthood, which has become the most meaningful part of the journey.
After a long day of moving pixels, Alex usually goes for a run. It’s a simple way to reset and clear the head!

Meet Suzanne.
Part of the Neuron marketing team and originally from Manchester, England, she made the move to the French Alps 18 years ago for the mountain life and fresh air.
In winter, she’s usually out snowboarding or splitboarding in the backcountry. When summer rolls around, it’s all about hiking, biking, wild camping, and swimming in mountain lakes.
Suzanne also loves to travel. Recent trips have taken her trekking in Nepal, snowboarding in Japan, and exploring Myanmar and Jordan. While she enjoys discovering new cultures, her favourite part of any trip is meeting as many dogs as possible along the way!

Hot cross buns at the Neuron Sydney office to celebrate Easter… makes coming back into work a whole lot sweeter!

Meet Tara, Executive Assistant at Neuron.
Most weekends you’ll find her at the beach, swimming, snorkelling, and soaking up the salt air. While her whole family are divers, Tara’s happy staying closer to the surface with a snorkel instead!
Tara loves the outdoors and has lived her whole life surrounded by nature in Ku-ring-gai National Park, which she still calls home. When she’s not outdoors, Tara loves travelling (Europe for three months, the US for a month, and hopefully Asia next...)
Tara also keeps active with netball and soccer, and has a creative streak that comes out through sewing, especially when there’s a deadline involved! Recent projects include Christmas table runners and a tiny kids’ hat for a very special new arrival within the Neuron family!
Beach lover, traveller, maker, and always up for what’s next!

Welcome to Neuron, Mioara Cenusa!
Mioara joins Neuron as a Front End Developer, and when she’s not crafting great user experiences, she’s soaking up the simple joys of life, reading, nature photography, and long walks that often turn into adventures. London holds a special place in her heart and the beach will always win over the mountains.
Family time is everything, baking, reading, quizzes, researching wildlife, and watching football with her eldest, especially when Man Utd are playing.
We’re so excited to have Mioara’s creativity, curiosity and warmth on the Neuron team!

From snowy peaks to sandy shores.
As we kicked off the year, the Neuron team returned from across the globe from Ireland to Ottawa, Morzine and Strasbourg to Shangri-La, Mandurah, Mollymook Beach and the Mornington Peninsula.
Snowboarding and skiing, snorkelling, time with our dogs, good food, home renovations, and even welcoming new members of the family gave us the space to reset, reconnect and gain perspective.
Different continents, different adventures but the same amazing team.
Now we’re back, energised, and ready for the year ahead!

Hamza from our Sydney team has recently been out and about in his capacity as a firefighter with Plumpton RFS Brigade.
The objective for these ‘Get Ready Weekends’ is to teach local residents how to be bush fire ready, and of course show the kids how to use a fire hose!
After visiting Doonside Festival, the crew headed to Barnes East HR at Lower Portland to undertake Hazard Reduction burns which are an important part of keeping the community safe, helping to reduce the risk of larger and more dangerous bush fires later in the season.
Thanks to Hamza and all the other members of the brigades for their efforts and commitment in helping to keep the communities we live in, safe.

Recently Eugene from our London office took a bike trip to meet up with Steve from Sydney in Ireland. Both of our directors were taking a holiday back to their homeland and took the time to catch up!
