Happy new years everybody !!! My resolution is to try and draw a little bit every day and to experiment with new styles, colours and brush types ! Progress and true creativity comes out of daily practice and risk taking!! I think it’s important to draw even when you aren’t in the mood, even if it’s a lil guy on a napkin at a restaurant.
Drawing little nice guys doing fun stuff really relaxes me and it’s time to cut down on things that don’t!!!

🌱 5 years of GRDN 🌱 honestly @grdnedin has been one of my greatest achievements and a key point of bonding between me and my friends and our love of music and community !!! From a teeny tiny party at leith cricket club to now, selling out tickets and ingratiating GRDN as a real staple in the Edinburgh music scene (standing on the shoulders of giants!) ….. I am so proud to see where it’s ended up! The most rewarding thing to me has always been creating a third space - a place where people can feel at ease, let off some steam, make friends and even find love :)
I am very sad that I live so far away and can’t celebrate our 5th Birthday with the homies! I love you guys and I’m so happy to see what this has become! Making this poster has helped me feel closer to you all….just sorry it’s like 2 weeks late LOL
