INVINCIBLE: SEASONS 3 & 4
I don’t have much to say honestly. This show has lived up to the hype, with every coming season raising the stakes more and more, to the point that I’m almost reading the source material. But I won’t, I think. I don’t know. It’s sooooo goood!!

As soon as I saw season’s finale, I just knew I had to do something. After spending the weekend working on it, my friends suggested I give some love to our good old friend Conquest, so we use the same format and gave Season 3 it’s deserved highlight.

I don’t know what you’re doing, but you gotta catch up to invincible. It’s proving to be up there amongst the best animated pieces of media the west has come up with. It’s rich, deep, and very emotional. Don’t let the medium fool you, the drama is just as good as anywhere else. And yeah, there’s lots of blood.

Absolute cinema. And to think I almost missed it…
I hadn’t been to the movies since January, and I’ve been pretty out of the loop on recent releases, with my eyes mostly on what’s coming this summer. Then my girlfriend asked if I’d be down to watch something she picked, no questions asked. I said, “sure, why not?”
I almost checked the screenings for a hint… but decided to just go with it. Man, I’m so glad I did.
I can’t even explain how much I enjoyed this. The story, the humor, the cinematography, the visuals, and ROCKY!! Just a genuinely feel-good film, executed perfectly.
I had seen Ryan Gosling mention it during his monologue on Saturday Night Live, but didn’t think much of it at the time. Big mistake. Don’t do the same and go watch it if you get the chance.
This is why we love movies.

WBC CHAMPIONS - Venezuela
Nothing but praise and awe to this group. Losing that final pool match against the DR and drawing Japan in the knockouts felt like a sentence. It actually turned out to be one of the most unexpected and admirable roads to the title we’ve ever seen in the WBC.
This shouldn’t have surprised anyone as it did though. They have a roster that could go par to par with the heavy hitters of the world. It was a matter of believe, focus, determination, inspiration, and that mysticism that is so common among professional players. That’s what took them to beat the title holders as they did. That’s what made that final look like they had control of the entire game. Guys that were willing to sacrifice anything for the team, with small ball play and pushing each other whenever they had a chance. A pitcher in Rodriguez that shocked EVERYONE with that outing. A bullpen that had offenses locked as soon as they took over, and a disregard for whatever their team said about availability, because this was more important than anything in the world.
Not gonna lie, I’m jealous as hell. Would’ve love for the DR to play this final against the Vino Tinto. But more than anything, I’m really proud of this group of players. They gave it all, and they definitely deserve it. It was a beautiful tournament, and it’s just fitting that it ended how it did.

What a performance. What a show.

One of those moments we’ll be looking back on in awe. Seeing our music on one of the biggest stages in the world is not something to take lightly. And I really couldn’t think of a better representative than Benito himself. Someone who has consistently put Caribbean culture front and center, from bomba and plena to dembow, and who doubled down on that vision with DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, an album that feels fully rooted and deserved every bit of the recognition it’s received since.

A lot of the conversation I’ve encountered online leading up to this show revolved around origins, ownership, and who gets to claim what. I get it. These conversations come from pride, something I’m not exempt from when it comes to my Quisqueya (or Jamaica). But if there’s one thing moments like this remind me of, it’s that our sounds have always been interconnected, just like our cultures and experiences. Caribbean music has never existed in isolation. Influences move, blend, and evolve across islands, coasts, and generations. The salsa boom serves as the prime example.

Puerto Rico has every reason to feel proud seeing one of its greatest artists repping the flag on a global stage. At the same time, it’s impossible to ignore how shared the Antillean experience really is. The rhythms, the stories, the nostalgia, they echo across borders. That’s why these wins feel collective. They always have.

It’s the same feeling I wrote about when DtMF dropped. Nostalgia, memory, roots, diaspora. Whether it’s an album dropping on DĂa de Reyes or the Halftime Show, it all comes from the same place. Home, even when home feels far away.
Nothing but pride watching this one.

LANDO NORRIS - 2025 ABU DHABI GP
Congrats Lando!
It was a privilege seeing this season go to the wire, and although I was excited to make a design for the 5th ™️, Lando’s still the only driver to have signed one of my prints. Just kidding.
He really impressed throughout the season, specially in the last race and those crucial moves he’s pulled. Coming from self-trolling yourself due to no wins to an F1 title is as aspirational as you can get, and one can’t help but feel happy for him. In a sport marked by the tough, bad boy daredevil archetype as in the days of Hunt and Schumi, to have a vulnerable, open and genuine driver such as himself at the front is a sign of the tides shifting for the best.
Can’t wait to see what next season’s changes brings to the table. And hopefully, you’ll sign this one in Monza next year too *fingers crossed*.

How could he possibly follow up the revered and legendary “Scaring The Hoes” we asked, to be answered with his most personal, consistent, lyrically heavy and polished solo project yet. I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU doubles down on the chaos of the past album, bringing punk, industrial and just plain noise along with some of the most beautiful samples and tender chords, all pinned down by his pen and vocal performance. An amazing album all around, brought as if still there was something to prove. On top of that, to release a Directors Cut where you find yourself asking “if this was left off the original album…” Peggy once again has proven to be one of the defining artists in his generation.
I had the privilege of collaborating with my long-time mate Alexi on this piece. A real standout in the community, always supporting, always pushing. A reminder of what collaboration can do.
