My sister Damyanti was one of the strongest women I’ve ever known. In the face of adversity, she was consistently, relentlessly, kind, positive and curious.
As time went on, I was lucky enough to witness her go from strength to strength - growing stronger and more centered in her power, with each layer of negativity she shed and moved beyond.
And now she makes her final move, to the ultimate beyond. No doubt the place of joy, peace and serene bliss that she truly deserves.
Her generosity lives on, as she would have wanted. After her sudden death, her organs were donated and have given life to at least 9 people right now, with more in the pipeline. It’s a trip to think that her lungs are breathing for someone else as I type this.
Thank you for everything you’ve bought into this world. I miss you. I love you, ya bumpkin xx ♥️🙏🏾🪔

How is it we only have one week of @brightonfestival left?! We still have so much amazing stuff coming up!
As you can see my voice remains a no-show, so it’s my dear friend @nerm to the rescue! We wanted to shout out some of the incredible events and performances we have coming up, including @adityaprakashmusic and @nadineshah (with @msmohammedmusic in support). Nerm’s taking care of wrapping things up immediately following my (sold out! 🙏🏽) Chapters show on Sunday 25th May with his Brighton Festival Closing Party. It’s going to be MASSIVE!
I also want to spotlight Sunday’s free Percussion Parade that’ll see a 30-piece band of amazing young South-East musicians led by @sarathykorwar (gathering at West Pier Spiral at 12pm), and ‘Walk, Wonder, Dream’ running from Thursday to Monday, led by @arunghoshmusic and @parmjitsagoo.satyarising . Both Sarathy and Arun are incredible artists who are ALSO in my amazing band, so if you’re coming to my show, you’ll see them there too!
