After working tirelessly to build the MRI Initiative Training Camp, our dream finally became reality today. But this is not the finish line yet, there is still a long journey ahead.
Yesterday, during our group meeting with the young athletes and the team, I felt truly relieved, emotional, and overwhelmed seeing how far we’ve come together.
Even though we have not yet secured full sponsorship, we are incredibly grateful for every bit of support, encouragement, and belief from each and every one of you. Your support means everything to us.
We will continue working with the same passion, commitment, and pace until we reach the goal. This is just the beginning.

We are excited to officially begin the Mira Rai Initiative Training Camp Project with 7 young female athletes selected for a long-term development program.
The athletes were chosen last November based on fitness tests, running posture, educational background, and knowledge assessments. They come from Jumla, Solu, Bhojpur, and Pokhara, each bringing passion, determination, and big dreams.
School admissions have now been completed, and our main focus will be on both education and running skill development to help create brighter futures for these young girls.
Our goal is not only about winning races. We aim to support them in becoming confident, kind, and strong individuals who stand for women empowerment and inspire future generations.
We are grateful to everyone who has supported this project so far. Some amazing supporters are already on board, but we are still looking for more help to continue running and growing this initiative.
If anyone wishes to support or collaborate with us, please feel free to contact us. Thank you so much for your continuous love and support. 🙏

We are thrilled to announce the extension of our partnership for another year with our nation’s pride the golden girl, Olympian, and the first gold medalist for Nepal in the South Asian Games, Santoshi Shrestha. 🇳🇵
Since becoming our club ambassador, Santoshi has delivered extraordinary performances throughout the season. She has broken an incredible 6 national records across 5 different distances — a historic achievement in Nepali athletics. No athlete in Nepal’s history has ever broken 6 national records in multiple distances within a single season.
And she’s not stopping there, she is now chasing two more national records in the 1500m and 800m events very soon.
We are incredibly proud to have Santoshi as our club ambassador and inspiration for the next generation of athletes. Keep shining, champion this is only the beginning. Many more milestones are yet to come!

The wait is finally over!
We are proud to announce that the MRI Training Camp is now fully ready to begin our long-term athlete development project. After years of hard work and incredible support from our community, the building and all training facilities are now prepared for our young athletes and coaches.
We strongly believe that world-class athletes are built from the grassroots level. That is why we have selected 7 talented young athletes, aged between 11 and 15, from remote villages across Nepal to join this journey.
Our mission is not only to develop strong runners, but also to empower these young athletes with opportunities, education, discipline, and life skills that will support them even beyond their sporting careers.
This is just the beginning.
We are currently looking for supporters and partners who would like to contribute to this meaningful project. Every bit of support can help shape the future of these young athletes.
If you would like to support or collaborate with us, please send us a message.
Thank you all for believing in this vision and being part of the journey. 🙏

What an action-filled day at the historic Boston Marathon
It was a proud and powerful moment for Nepal Run communities across the UK, USA, Australia, and Nepal — everyone came out firing on one of the toughest and most iconic marathon courses in the world.
Leading the charge, Sushil Kumar Shrestha delivered an outstanding performance, smashing his personal best by a huge 9 minutes and clocking an incredible 2:39:01. What makes this even more special is that he only started his running journey just over a year ago and was still dealing with injury until recently pure determination and resilience on display.
At the elite level, John Korir set the course alight by breaking the course record with a phenomenal 2:01:52 finish, a truly world-class performance.
From Nepal Run Australia, Bikash Shrestha also stepped up and secured a new personal best, while Narayan Panta from Nepal Run UK finally broke the long-awaited sub-3 barrier — a huge milestone and a testament to his consistency and dedication. Massive respect!
Pratik Gauchan from Nepal Run USA showed great consistency, matching his personal best once again — strong and steady performance.
One of the most inspiring moments of the day came from our very own Pandav Mahato, who completed the marathon in a chef’s uniform, finishing in an impressive 3:12:05. His mission to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among chefs is truly commendable — huge respect for leading by example. 👨🍳💪
And how can we not mention our Iron Man, Santosh Karmachaya, who completed the race with a relaxed effort just a week after conquering a brutal 265km desert challenge — an unbelievable feat of endurance.
Congratulations to every single participant who represented, pushed limits, and ran for meaningful causes.
The story doesn’t end here — this is just the beginning. More to come.
