I went out to @nenosroc and got to try their Birria Torta and Oh. My. Lord. This thing slappppssss. Birria, pickled jalapenos and red onions, cilantro, cotija cheese, avocado, and special sauce. I can’t even begin to describe how incredible this torta was.
It’s got just enough heat for me to enjoy it, beefy, creamy, and just really really delicious.
I got to hang out with the family and their crew in the kitchen and watch as they made their Birria from start to finish and it was so incredible to be welcome back into the kitchen to have them, show me how they make their beer. It was the first time anyone’s ever done that. Such an awesome family they are running this restaurant making incredible food. I absolutely loved it and it’s definitely on one of my top 100 favorite restaurants in New York.
