10 years ago, I “rescued” some wooden building blocks from the preschool I worked at because they made a weirdly satisfying sound. Fast forward a decade: they’ve finally made their studio debut.
Special guest appearance by my amazing wife bringing home Chinese food mid-session to keep me alive 🥡❤️
Closed it out with some extra berimbau and wrapped up the final track.

This project blends capoeira music with unorthodox sounds and styles—something I approached with deep respect for tradition and lineage. 🙏🏽
I’ve been producing music for 20+ years, and while I haven’t been able to train as much as I’d like (work + parent life!), my berimbau has been a constant companion. Ask anyone—I take it everywhere I go. So it only made sense that it would find its way into my music. 🎶
😬I was nervous to share this (I couldn’t help but compare myself to Donovan from Only the Strong 😭) but I’m proud of it. It came together with joy and ease, and I hope it brings energy to your training, games, or daily flow.
