This is the fastest lap I did last week. 2:00.89
I have a lot of data now since I ran in every session. Learned a lot of things. Itās a bummer but not fruitless. Optimal showed sub2 is there but margins are too close, at my level of driving now.
We move on and we adapt. 0.01 improvement is minimal but not insignificant. It means if conditions are right sub2 is there. It also means thereās more room to improve.
My first session, 4th lap, and fastest lap of the day. My thoughts on the short layout. The chicane is smooth and faster. T2 seems faster as well, walls arenāt as close as it looks in videos, skidpad is different.
Skid pad definitely put some extra tenths on my lap when compared to the 1:24.81 reference lap from last year on the OG layout. Not sure if itās slower in general but Iām definitely slower through it. The entry is faster into the skid pad but the exit is now a decreasing radius so if you donāt have enough front grip, you need to be able to rotate the car well and establish a later braking zone to make up time. Since the corner entry is pretty much a straight line the braking zone I feel is almost all inside the skid pad (for my slow as car)
Front end grip was definitely desired but poor habits on the bowl and early braking definitely put a few tenths on my lap as well.
For those who made it this far on the description thank you, this is my thoughts on the track and my driving for my reference and any who were experiencing similar issues. I need to shift my thinking to what can I do different instead of what can I get to make me faster.
rant over
This year was only possible with the help of my sponsors who help get Nemo to where itās at currently and keeping it on the track. I was able to get seat time and reliable performance throughout the year.
Onto the next year with more seat time and hunting faster lap times!

Dragyās OBD2 device is handy. Adding Oil temps, coolant temps, throttle position (brakes + throttle), rpm, speed, and Gās to lap data.
Got to test it out on a little track recently, my throttle position numerical values are still jumpy but Iām currently on the beta for it so definitely a minor kink.
Dragy is the best value data logger I could recommend. So much data, so easy to use, for a fraction of the cost an aim solo DL with can bus would cost
Round 2 chasing was a lot better but wasnāt enough. Also my wife and daughter cheering me on in the background is the best. @missnagelly thank you for coming with raya to support me.
@touge2track touge battles was really fun. 3rd round lose to a GRC. Fast guy. I also bogged on the launch, the 86 definitely slower from a dig but a I didnāt do the launch any justice lol.
Little donuts. First session at the skid pad. Feels like Iām barely learning how to drive again
@clubtouge one or two more events then Iāll try the actual course, gotta get use to second gear.
At the ābunny slopesā today at @clubtouge drift event. It was fun even though Iām not really sure what Iām doing. The atmosphere was awesome and even as a beginner I didnāt feel pressure or judgment.
Just wanted to learn how to do a donut and maybe a figure 8. But really just wanted to get comfortable being sideways.
No E-brake entry, mostly 1st gear slides. Tried 2nd gear but definitely need to get better and build confidence since I need speed to carry the slide.
S/O to @fullsend.addict for snapping the vid of me at the skid pad. Good seeing you out there!
Some photography content. Iāve been working on a preset bundle for no reason lol.
Complete preset with subdivided (exposure, color, basic masking) presets under it.
