PEW PEW! Pew...p.... Oh no! Our laser cutter has pewed its last pew. To raise funds for a new one NEM is hosting a Catan tournament on April 29 at our space in Pinehurst. Prizes will include custom makes from some of our members, including a one of a kind laser cut Catan board and 3D printed player pieces, all contained in a beautiful handmade wood box with custom designed inserts for organization. #lasercutter #fundraiser #catantournament #settlersofcatan #seattleevents #gotwoodforsheep

This week's Engineering Lab will cover CAD for 3D Printing. Free and open to the public. We will learn the basics of mechanical CAD software for 3D printing functional objects. You don't need any prior CAD or 3D printing knowledge. The class will use OnShape as the CAD tool, but the concepts are similar to other tools like Fusion 360. Requirements: Any laptop, tablet, chromebook, etc. as long as you have a keyboard and mouse. Onshape.com runs in your browser and is free for hobbyist use!
