The Couple- Carolina and Federico’s story unfolds when they first crossed paths at fifteen years-old in their hometown of Caracas, Venezuela; he noticed her right away, though they never spoke and went about their separate ways for more than a decade. When they reconnected years later in Miami, their spark was re-ignited, and just three months after rekindling their friendship, a trip to Tuscany became the moment they truly fell in love.
The Venue- After an extensive search across Miami, Carolina and Federico chose the Historic Alfred I. Dupont Building for its understated elegance and refined character. Its architectural grandeur and timeless aesthetic aligned perfectly with the celebration they envisioned. From the Art Deco detailing to the hand-painted ceilings and historic significance, the venue offered a balance of classic sophistication and distinctive charm that felt truly unmatched.
The Reception- Italy holds a special place in Carolina and Federico’s love story, making it important that meaningful Italian elements were thoughtfully woven throughout their garden wedding. Rather than feeling thematic, these details were subtle and personal, such as the cannoli bar complementing additional touches like playful napkins featuring their dog with “I didn’t get invited” written on them to reflect the couples sense of humor.
