From art to fabric, from fashion to art.
At #MilanDesignWeek, Accademia del Lusso presented a project that brings together fashion, art, and interior design in a vibrant dialogue inspired by a bold visual universe of color, energy, and decorative strength.
Developed by Fashion Design students, the project began with an in-depth exploration of the expressive language of French artist Niki de Saint Phalle. Through her use of color, symbolic forms, and ornamental richness, students translated these elements into a series of original textile prints, later crafted into 8 exclusive garments under the guidance of faculty expert
@pompasrenata .
The project expanded beyond fashion thanks to the contribution of Interior Design and Fashion Styling students, who created accessories and spatial elements using the same textile patterns, extending the visual language into the entire exhibition space.
The result is a truly interdisciplinary experience, highlighting the power of creative languages when they intersect and engage in dialogue.
An important cultural journey for our professionals to be —and a reminder of how deeply connected art and fashion have always been.
A special thank you to our sponsors
@boselli1898 ,
@nelcolore , and Edyscambi Italia, and once again to Renata Pompas for her vision and guidance in shaping this project.
And thank you to everyone who visited the exhibition!
