Indonesia-born and Naarm-based, her practice moves with precision through the terrain of hypnotic techno, shaping low-end pressure, spectral textures, and tightly controlled rhythmic tension into immersive, spacial environments. Beyond the dancefloor, she extends this sensibility through Ethereal Distribution, a platform grounded in community and emerging voices across techno. Her collaboration Wujud / Lenyap marks the opening gesture of an evolving sonic language, with a forthcoming EP continuing this trajectory. Always constructing, always refining, always in motion.

an echo from the teahouse void reverie• returns this thursday for an evening reprieve of contemplative music & gong fu tea. this week, we are humbled to have @neko__ea live in the space for an improvised ambient set of field recordings and musique concrète process within a digital framework. a spatial, meditative work focused on texture, presence and gradual transformation. they will be joined by the gentle soundscapes of warped mallee (@mkk____999 ) as always, bookings essential and limited to 25 people. love, reverie•

SOUNDS [A-Z] [ Basscamp @bassc.amp ] Luan & Jasa are the live and DJ duo behind Basscamp, known for their endless grooves and technical finesse. Their collaboration finds the sweet spot between Luan’s classic dance music sensibilities and Java’s eclectic musical approach. With EPs ‘Technical Itch’ and ‘Hype / Whoops’, the pair have been making waves across Naarm and beyond. For Voyager 1, Luan steps in solo, representing Basscamp and crafting dancefloor magic. [ Explicit Joy @explicit__joy ] Explicit Joy is the DJ and production project of Naarm-based artist Liam, also the founder of Lny Design. A familiar presence on the club floor, he draws from a wide spectrum of energies and tones, with a soft spot for swing and groove. His sets balance emotion and rhythm with ease. As a producer, Explicit Joy has released the EP ‘Body Admin’, the collaborative EP ‘MotionActivated’ with Al Dente on Neurocrank, and contributed to a VA on Unrestricted Purpose. [ neko.ea @neko__ea ] neko.ea is a multi-disciplinary Indonesian artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. Her work explores the abstract, experimental and the beautiful, blending Indonesia’s cultural heritage with an atonal, hauntological sound palette. Her EP ‘Wujud/Lenyap’, created in collaboration with CTP through Ethereal Distribution, weaves Southeast Asian textures and spoken word with driving techno rhythms. Traversing deeper, hypnotic, and polyrhythmic realms of dance music, her work has established a distinctive sonic presence both locally and internationally.
