En menos de una hectárea se construyó un desarrollo de 45 viviendas unifamiliares.
Las viviendas fueron diseñadas bajo el concepto de Town House, con un desplante de 120 m2 de terreno y 165 m2 de construcción.
Cada casa cuenta con cocina, sala-comedor, medio baño, cuarto de lavado, cuarto de servicio y tres recámaras con clóset y baño completo.

SOLITUDE MILL RETREATE
Rio Vez, Portugal, 2025
Participamos en el concurso de ideas organizado por Bee Breeders para diseñar un spa dentro de una propiedad privada en Rio Vez, en Portugal.
Se buscó una arquitectura que respetara el paisaje, sin imponerse y de bajo perfil adaptándose al contexto existente. La propuesta es energéticamente eficiente, respetuosa con su entorno y con elementos de construcción local. Se utiliza como nivel de desplante el muro de piedra existente reforzando la continuidad histórica. Utilizamos materiales del lugar; piedra para el exterior, hormigón para el interior sumando acero inoxidable, madera y vidrio creando un lenguaje contemporáneo.
El programa está contenido en un simple y elegante volumen. Grandes ventanales hacia las mejores vistas y espacios íntimos con mayor privacidad.

The competition called for a Waterfall retreat by the Howard Family whose seven generations of stewardship have preserved the land. Their vision was to create a timeless and versatile family retreat that would honor the rich family heritage while embracing a forward thinking approach to architecture. The site is nestled in a beautiful Northwestern Pennsylvania site within the Falls run river, a 12-meter-high waterfall which showcase layers of Denovian shale and fossils.
The competition called for ideas to enlarge the existing building but after carefully studying the site and program, we proposed to demolish the existing house. The new house would better answer the needs and demands of a contemporary family and will be beautifully nestled in the landscape. Yet far from erasing its history, we opted for a concept of transformation, where the character of the house will represent to the family legacy of stonemasons; it will do so through permanence, durability and sustainability. A new house reimagined in masonry, a new house reimagined in local stone.
The new house will arise as a direct dialogue between the landscape, stone, river and waterfall. Our parti respects all trees and historical flood limits. We divided the program into three different volumes thus enabling natural light to flood all spaces throughout the house.
Pedestrian access descends gently from the road into the house, emphasizing a transition from public to private space, surprise and contemplation are main composition elements. Small retaining walls keep river current calmed and create pools where children and family can play. Gentle stairs descent into the river inviting guest to experience nature.
We believe our proposal honors Howard Family legacy through the spirit of the original summer house; it preserves materiality and transforms memory into a living modern architecture. It represents family values that will age gracefully into nature.

Un concurso de ideas convocado por la firma Buildner para la familia Howard. La visión de familiar es crear un refugio familiar con una solución moderna, atemporal y versátil que honre la rica herencia familiar, y a su vez, adopte un toque arquitectónico vanguardista. El sitio, se encuentra al noroeste de Pensilvania, frente al río Falls Run y tiene una cascada de doce metros de altura exhibiendo capas de piedra Denovia y fósiles.
El concurso convocó ideas para ampliar el edificio existente, pero tras un cuidadoso estudio del terreno y programa, propusimos demoler la casa existente. La nueva casa respondería mejor a las necesidades y demandas de una familia contemporánea y se integrará con belleza en el paisaje. Sin embargo y lejos de borrar su historia, optamos por un concepto de transformación, el carácter de la casa representará el legado familiar de canteros y lo hará a través de la permanencia, durabilidad y sostenibilidad. Una nueva casa reimaginada en mampostería, una nueva casa reimaginada en piedra local.
La nueva casa, surge como un diálogo directo entre el paisaje, la piedra, el río y la cascada. Nuestro diseño respeta todos los árboles y límites históricos de inundación. Dividimos el programa en tres volúmenes, permitiendo que la luz natural inunde todos los espacios. El acceso peatonal desciende suavemente desde la calle hacia la casa, enfatizando la transición del espacio público al privado. La sorpresa y contemplación son elementos principales de composición. Pequeños muros de contención mantienen la corriente del río calmada y crean piscinas donde los niños y la familia pueden jugar. Unas suaves escaleras descienden hacia el río invitando a los huéspedes experimentar la naturaleza.
Nuestra propuesta honra el legado de la familia Howard a través del espíritu de la casa de verano; preserva la materialidad y transforma la memoria en una arquitectura moderna y viva. Representa valores familiares que envejecerán con gracia y elegancia.
Providencia II
Guadalajara, Jalisco, 2013
Sobre un pequeño terreno de 360 m2 se propuso un proyecto de vivienda vertical en seis niveles con un departamento de 210 m2 por piso.
Cada departamento cuenta con sala-comedor, cocina, cuarto de lavado y servicio, cuarto de televisión y tres recámaras con baño completo.
El estacionamiento se encuentra a nivel de ingreso y cuenta con dos cajones por departamento. El material de construcción es concreto aparente para minimizar el mantenimiento.
