Movement, inspiration, and a few memorable stops. Returning to @SixSensesLondon after eight years spent working to bring the project to life was incredibly special and personal. Walking through the finished spaces was a reminder of how much care, patience and collaboration it takes to create something meaningful. Then on to Lisbon, wandering through @TimeOutMarketLisboa , discovering a great local tailor, and enjoying a few pasteis de nata along the way. The journey continued through Comporta, riding dune buggies along the beach while exploring potential sites for a Wild Origins client, before heading back to Lisbon to watch and listen to @Ramazzotti_eros . Travel always has a way of sparking new ideas.

The start of the year in motion. Time spent in winter landscapes, Los Angeles for the Golden Globe Awards, and across New York and Hong Kong visiting @baccarat boutiques and convening with the Board. A stay at @hongkongregent , followed by Osaka for the @capellahotels and @patinahotels Leadership Summit. As we move through 2026, the Year of the Horse, the focus is clear: momentum, craft, leadership, and building what’s next.

As this year comes to a close, I’m grateful for what it made possible. Launching Wild Origins created space to step back, reflect, and build something rooted in purpose, curiosity, and long-term impact. The past few months have been shaped by a mix of moments: walking hotels and places in progress, conversations on stages and microphones, and the time that matters most, being with family and immersed in nature. Together, they defined a year grounded in connection, perspective, and intention. More to come in Part 2.

I am excited to be in Dubai for the @globalwellnesssummit , always one of the most energizing gatherings of the year. The conversations on wellness, longevity and the future of travel are always as bold as the city itself. All this comes right on the heels of a great few days in Saudi Arabia with #TOURISE25, diving into how the region is reshaping tourism with culture, nature and regeneration at the center. Two stops, one theme: the Middle East is moving fast and it’s exciting to be part of the dialogue. The opening of @patinaosaka was meaningful in all the right ways. More than an opening, it was a gathering of minds, stories, and creative spirits. From the micro-seasonal dinner at P72 to surprise sets by @a_hundred_birds_production and @youngsavagecoco , every moment was thoughtfully composed. But what lingered was the why behind it all. The collaboration with @VERDY didn’t feel performative, it felt personal. The curation of talent, @shimotsukoji , @fullhouse.jpn , and so many others, reflected a true curiosity about Osaka’s creative heartbeat. When hospitality creates space for local voices to be heard and global guests to truly listen, something deeper happens. Culture becomes connection. Design becomes dialogue. After more than a decade leading Six Senses and a career spent shaping purpose-led hospitality, I’m thrilled to share my next chapter: the launch of Wild Origins. Wild Origins is more than a consultancy. It’s a creative collective built to bring soulful, sustainable projects to life across hospitality, wellness, lifestyle, land development, and beyond. We work with visionary partners to reimagine how we live, create, and connect with each other and with the planet. Our services span strategic advisory, brand and marketing development, financial and operational assessments, sustainability planning and execution, concept development across hospitality and wellness, residential planning, and pre-opening strategy. We’re already partnering with some incredible brands. I’ve joined @capellahotels as a Senior Strategic Advisor to support the global growth and performance of both the Capella and @patinahotels brands. Today marks my final day as CEO of @sixsenses . After more than 13 years with this extraordinary brand, I am stepping away from leadership of the company and setting out on a new adventure. It is a moment filled with many emotions — pride in what we’ve built, gratitude for those I’ve worked alongside, and excitement for what’s ahead. Leading Six Senses has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. From the start, we set out to create something different: a brand rooted in purpose and guided by the belief that hospitality can be both deeply meaningful and genuinely regenerative. We didn’t just build hotels, we built a culture where sustainability, wellness, design, and experience were always in service of something greater. From eight hotels to 26 open properties, with more than 30 on the way, I am incredibly proud of how far we have come. But what matters most to me are the people: my colleagues, partners, and mentors who brought this vision to life with passion, creativity, and courage. You’ve shaped me in ways I’ll carry forward always, and made this chapter not just memorable, but truly transformative. Some might assume stepping down means slowing down or retiring. That road is not for me. I’ll soon be announcing a new venture, one that feels like a return to my own wild origins. A chance to explore fresh ideas, challenge assumptions, and collaborate with kindred spirits who believe, as I do, that hospitality can be a force for good.
