Our first studio EP is finally out. Thanks again to @maxgowan24 at @foundafterdark for working with us to make our favorite sounding release to date. Honestly at first I was hesitant at the thought of letting someone else take the reins with recording our music, which has been a favorite part of the creative process for us since we started this band. Once I heard Max’s work though, I knew it was the right decision. We entered the studio for 2 days with 4 ideas, and were able to hammer everything out that we wanted, with no fluff. The songs you hear are straightforward, honest, and all written in about a week of creative frenzy. We hope you enjoy it and resonate with the new music. If you’re familiar with our sound, I think you’ll find a lot to like. If this is your first impression of us, this is our best foot forward.
It has felt a bit like dragging ourselves out of the mud to get our music heard, so that’s where a lot of visual influences come from. That plus a family history of hoarding, which is good for nothing except for the occasional photoshoot.

Their song “Everybody’s Right” won me over, love the dynamics. Lyrics feel genuine which is also refreshing. Overall production sounds great too 💚

New EP coming in January, 2026.
It’s been an uncharacteristically quiet month for us on here, but we’ve been busy. Our resident stick swinger @will.plays.drums is heading to Nashville to share in honky tonk drummer glory, so we hunkered down and put together a 4-song EP beforehand.
We spent 2 days with @foundafterdark who captured the most faithful sound of the band so far, with enough fuzz guitar and screaming feedback to make even Billy Corgan weep. We’re super stoked to share it with you guys soon. Our single “Everybody’s Right” is out 1/16, followed by the full EP release on 1/30. Presaves for both releases are in our bio.

“Stronger, Faster, Clean” - our new single, is coming out this Friday 10/3. You can pre-save (not that it really does much, and I’m also aware of the irony) through the link in our bio. Now, about the song:
Stronger, Faster, Clean touches on the absurdity of recent AI progression & blind adoption. Unfortunately following the plots of many of my favorite sci-fi horror films, humanity’s obsession with technological perfection is already bringing ruin upon itself. In the art world, we’re already seeing record labels testing the waters with “signing” AI artists and streaming services filling their own playlists with AI generated tracks, taking the humanity out of art in pursuit of higher profits. In the LLM/answer engine world, we’re seeing massive AI data centers emerging throughout the US that are all but unregulated by the EPA, increasing CO2 emissions and causing further stress on local water & energy infrastructures.
We’re just mere musicians, but it’s just hard to wrap our heads around the answer to “is this all really worth it?”. This song wrestles with that topic in a very human way, as someone with many questions and a shortage of answers. As with all recent Negative Feedback releases, Stronger, Faster, Clean was recorded in our DIY home studios using budget gear. The sound you hear is rough and imperfect, but it’s very human. I hope you enjoy it and please share it on Friday if you resonate with it.

Also, this is one of the first songs where we’ve successfully captured a “surprise ending” that is very wild and nasty, so don’t skip until the song is fully done. We’ve already fooled a number of unsuspecting patrons in our past 2 live shows. Very funky.
