I edited this a couple months ago, but was a bit hesitant to share it here. Anyhow, here’s my new cinematography reel! I’d still recommend seeing it in full screen or on my website via Vimeo (IG’s compression 🙄)
Looking forward to working on new projects and going on new adventures. Also, many thanks to the directors, cast, and crews of past projects ❤️

A couple of my favorite images from last year!! Not gonna say too much about them, but it was really special to have been asked by @sabiha_v11 to take these!!

A Slowdown in Calcutta
Looking through the archive, I can almost remember every moment connected to the images I’ve made — especially when I’m photographing on film. And the slower process allows me to remember each moment with a little more detail and fondness

When I was in Varanasi (aka Banaras), I’d step out everyday and walk from the Assi Ghat to Manikarnika Ghat and back… sometimes twice. Perhaps my love for the city is that it’s always presenting itself as a “scene”.
As I rediscovered these pictures, I remembered this little bit from Satyajit Ray’s book “Our Films, Their Films”. Certainly explains the emotion of being in Varanasi better than I could ever explain. Shared it on the last slide — it’s a book I’d highly recommend!
