Crying on the subway overwhelmed with my love for my mama. She’s curious, kind, scrappy, and fun. She taught me the irrepressible reward of showing gratitude to the world and is living proof that hopeful determination begets endless possibilities. Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul 🖤
I have lived 29 short years. This last one was spent reveling in the small beauties of the world, paying gratitude to and celebrating the friends and family that make this life worth living, and dusting off parts of myself that I had been neglecting. I am made of fragments of my past selves, and as I carry us all into my 30th year, this eager soul is brimming with love and opportunity.
They say grad school is where you’ll meet some of your lifelong friends.
