BOSWELL visual out now 🎥💥
This is a 1 of 1 custom piece hand crafted with no machinery involved. This design begins at the base of the jacket which has been completely reinforced with dual colored hand stitched suede patchwork. The complete torso of this piece is dyed a deep true blue while the arms have been dyed in an aged honey. From the front, the upper left chest presents deconstructed details from the interior of the jacket. These details are framed in suede patchwork and then layered with a displaced Avirex wing logo. The right chest of the jacket consists of more front facing interior accents framed in suede and layered with original Avirex Tag work. The collar has been reinforced with hand stitched red leather. The left side profile starts with the cuffs reinforced with suede patchwork matching the base of the jacket. Traveling vertically up the sleeve from cuff to shoulder is a large 996+4 signature in layers of red and blue. The right silhouette dawns the reinforced cuff accents. Above the cuff, on the forearm is the iconic scale in layered patchwork. An original Avirex number 88 Varsity patch sits in its place directly under more deconstructed tag work framed in patchwork. From the back of the jacket, you see the Original Avirex Saff Club in Varsity lettering. Placed in the middle is the Large War Torn Flag framed in suede patchwork.

Avirex Officer’s O-Coat (1987) — Reconstructed
Patiently rebuilt by hand from an authentic Avirex Officer’s O-Coat, originally produced in 1987. The garment’s original military character is preserved and recontextualized through deliberate reconstruction.
Original Avirex labels and specification markings remain intact. A fully functional 1980s Avirex backpack is integrated directly into the back of the jacket, stitched by hand and retained in working condition with original hardware. Throughout the jacket and backpack, fragments of archival Avirex maps—documenting WWII escape routes through Germany—are embedded as material reference rather than decoration.
Constructed by hand, with time treated as the primary value rather than a limitation. Every decision reflects patience, restraint, and continuity. The result is not a reproduction, but a fixed moment of process—unrepeatable by design.
