Friday - it's the last @dayslikethis.oakland DAYS LIKE THIS weekly dance party of 2025. Lace up those dancing shoes and head over to the Lake Merritt pergola (the dome). The party comes back Feb 14, 2026 so you want to get it in! And it's the party co-founder Sulaiman Hyatt 's birthday party! Legendary @Mellaique Black closed out the year with her guests Red Latinhood and Brown Angel. This is a coat drive for our unhoused neighbors. So bring that winter coat that you never wear and pass it on to someone who desperately needs it on these 42° night on the concrete.
Then make your way to @goldenratio510 Golden Ratio Oakland for a Cumbia Safada. With DJ Femme Papi, DJ Brown Angel & DJ Flavi
Saturday and Sunday we will be at our usual spot on Lakeshore across the street from the stairs. Check out our pickles, preserves, sauces and medicines. Our Ital Pinay booth will also be up for you to get art and jewelry. Get yourself something cuz you deserve it and cross off some folks on your gift giving list too.
