The Fur, Curls, and Topcoats class is such a fun class! There are only two spots left for this year. During this 2-day needle felting workshop, we will learn multiple techniques for creating various coat textures and patterns for needle felted animals. Topics include making our own curls for curly coats, using natural curls and locks, making wavy coats, learning about and sampling various species of fiber animals to use for creating different coat textures, long fur application, creating a smooth coat, creating different types of patterns, using a reverse needle to create short and medium length coats, blending colors for long fur and short coats, brushing and trimming fur, and other methods for getting those final touches just right. We will also learn how to use a drum carder and create our own custom fur blend. Class is 9am-5:30pm each day July 11-12, 2026 in Marion, Ohio.
