Well, I’m extremely honoured to be named the young Australian of the year for 2026. I’m yet to have the exact words to express my emotions, until then, I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to the NADC and to every one of you for all of the support over the last 24 hours but more importantly the last 4 and a half years. We couldn’t have done it without the support of this beautiful country.
I might be the person that gets to accept this award but it’s most definitely not about me. With @wearemobilise help, we cannot wait to utilise this different and unique platform we’ve been handed to ensure we make homelessness everyone’s problem until we have solutions to continue to help those that need it most.
I truly believe it all starts with showing each and every Australian, no matter their circumstance, love, care and compassion from within. Be curious, look for the good in people, there’s so much division at the moment. So now, more than ever, is a time to support one another.
A massive congratulations to @aussieastrokatherine for being awarded Australian of the year, Professor Henry brodaty for Senior Australian of the year and to Frank Mitchell for Local Hero award. All incredible humans. I’m privileged to be named alongside them.
Til the wheels fall off 🚀🚀
Big congrats to Nedd Brockmann (@neddbrockmann ) on receiving the Young Australian of the Year award for 2026 👏

Well… not a post I was ever planning on doing, but here we are. Sadly it’s tools down for Nedd’s Milk 💔 Maybe the problem was we didn’t call it Brocky’s Chocky?!?
A question I get asked daily is, “how’s the milk?” And ever the optimist, I’d say something like, “yeah it’s going good, tough industry, but we can see a path.” Truth is… deep down, that path was getting harder and harder to see. When we kicked this off, the goal was simple, make a Choccy milk that tastes good and does good. And in a lot of ways, we did that… and a whole lot more.
4am runs. Sending people overseas. Backing NUC. Supporting people doing incredible challenges. Sponsoring the Parra Eels (trainers) and plenty more moments we’ll never forget.
But small business in Australia is tough… and the dairy industry is cut throat. If you don’t own the dairy and the production facility, you’re starting on the back foot from day one. Maybe that was a dumb choice, but you never know if you don’t have a crack. Lifelong business lessons. At the same time, you’ve got multi-million dollar companies flooding shelves with product, backed by massive budgets for discounting and advertising. They’re doing their job, and doing it well, but it’s a game we just can’t match.
So, it’s time to go back to focusing our attention on what’s really important. Helping those less fortunate than ourselves through continuing to raise funds for @wearemobilise via @neddsuncomfortablechallenge and our other initiatives.
And I do want to say, the dairy industry here in Australia is incredible, keep buying milk, keep supporting the farmers doing it tough. I’ll always be preaching milk, it’s the greatest drink on the planet. God bless those beautiful cows 🐄
They say don’t cry over spilt milk… and we’re not. Because when we look back, we’re bloody proud. But more than anything, it highlights the one constant in all of this. You all. Every single one of you that has bought a bottle, showed up to a run or donned the merch. None of this happens without you. So THANK YOU. Thanks for buying the good stuff!
Here’s to doing things that do good… without burning holes in our pockets. Milk man out. Goodbye and GET IT UP YA 🥛🚀🐄
Nedd Brockmann’s current chapter looks nothing like the last.
Sleep, recovery, nutrition and his supplement stack are now dialled to an elite level, reflecting the time being chased.
In true Nedd form, this is what the road to elite looks like.
The full breakdown is now on YouTube. Link in bio.
Bit of NZ, bit of Doug, bit of life.
Been wearing some dark glasses recently because the future is looking pretty damn BRIGHT BABY BOOM. Nah seriously, I’ve got the fire back in my belly. It never really left, but boy am I eager to chase after my dreams again and again and again. It’s so short and glowingly beautiful this life we have. Every experience yet another lesson to apply to the next day, if we’re lucky. All the pain that comes from hardship is real but the suffering part is optional, remember that. It’s all in the head. Suffer wisely! I’m feeling fit, Boston is no more but there’s some beautiful silver linings to that also. Anyway, call your parents. Love you x
Fun morning with a bunch of weapons chasing an unofficial PB in the new @pumaau deviate 4’s. I was on pacing duties and loved every second of it!! Shoutout to those that came down and to those that ripped in. If you’re looking for a fast, all rounder work horse of a shoe, deviate 4 is where it’s at!
If you’re around Melbourne for the F1 this weekend, head down to Ignition Beach in st Kilda where McLaren and Puma have teamed up to bring the fans one hell of an experience!
Feb dump. Excited to be back consistently moving the body, I like getting fit. It’s fun. After the excitement of the awards in Jan, it took some time for me to get my head right. Grateful for the opportunities that lie ahead this year, and every year. Life is beautiful, Thanks for all the love, always. Don’t forget to enjoy now, it’s all we’ve got. Yeah boooiiiii 🚀
New YouTube ep is live!
I’m excited to share with whoever wants to come along and watch, the trials and tribulations I’m about to experience on the road to an elite start line in the marathon. 6pm every Sunday night we will have a new episode dropping 🤝
YouTube is a really cool opportunity for me to be transparent as I navigate both the public exposure it brings and, most importantly, the training necessary to achieve the goal I’ve set myself. It’s stressful putting yourself out there, but it’s far worse to never try. Give it your all, grab it by the plums and have a go. You’ll never know what you’re capable of by sitting back and wondering.
We are putting loads of time in to making this channel as informative - and hopefully a bit entertaining too - as possible.
As always, I sincerely appreciate the support you all have consistently given me 💙 a comment and subscription gives you the chance to grab yourself a brand new pair of @pumaau deviates. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
Link in bio if you want a 20 min viewing tonight!! Yewww 🚀
This is ep 3
While ever this heart is beating, you can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be heading out and doing something that lights me up. Getting comfortable with discomfort will always teach you more than you can ever imagine. Everything is neutral, we get to frame situations as either good or bad. So regardless of what gets thrown your way, especially in chosen hardship, embrace it, smile at it and push on anyway.
These last 16 days were some of the most liberating, joyous, character building days you could have. Felt like 4 mates on school camp. Eating coco pops for breakfast and cans of soft drink like they were going out of fashion. Riding push bikes through all hours of the day and night, wind in the face, sun on our backs. MPD’s at an all time high. Bliss.
Thanks to the boys for making it such a fun experience. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. Still can’t!
This will be the last ‘endurance’ thing I do for a while. I am so grateful we were able to get it done before the end of the year. Next year I’ll be putting all my attention to getting as fast as possible on two feet. Something I had a sniff of during the London marathon this year, got my head spinning. Time to scratch the itch.
What a year, what a life. It’s a beautiful thing and I can’t wait to do more of it. Grateful to be with family and back with Dougie boy. Tan lines need some work.
Merry Christmas all 🤶
Day 12 of ride across AUS done, out of SA tomorrow, 5 days to get to Sydney, otherwise Christmas Day on the pushy it is.
Can’t wipe the smile off my face, it’s a wonderful experience this thing called life. Can’t wait to keep doing more of it.
It’s very basic out here, we get up early, ride far, find water/drink stops, drink milk, talk nonsense, avoid heat, get to some accom, family room normally, Harry’s ability to sleep is something to be studied, eat dinner, more dribble then get to bed. Repeat. Dreamy stuff.
I’ve really enjoyed riding through towns I was lucky enough to run through three years ago. So many beautiful memories, amazing people looking out for us and the country folk are salt of the earth. They couldn’t be more accommodating, makes me warm inside.
Anyway, gooch is sweet, losing weight but my litres of milk per day (LMPD) is high. 3 litres today
Night 🚀🚀
