[Ad] Hello and welcome back to another round of heavy music, this time with
@necrotted and We Are The Gods That Tear Ourselves Apart on Splatter vinyl. Evolution has always been part of Necrottedβs identity. From modern death metal and deathcore roots to crushing slam influences and darker black metal textures, the band have constantly reshaped their sound. On "We Are The Gods That Tear Ourselves Apart", their sixth full-length, Necrotted sharpen that formula into something even harsher, darker, and more relentless.
'ZeitenschlΓ€chter' kicks the album open with icy blackened guitars and a tightly controlled burst of aggression, instantly showing how much the band has refined their sound. Despite the crushing double-bass barrage, the production never collapses into chaos, keeping the album heavy, sharp, and surprisingly clear.
'Deus Ex' firmly establishes the direction the band is pushing toward. Featuring Sven de CaluwΓ© on guest vocals, the track channels the sheer intensity of Aborted while still maintaining Necrottedβs own identity. The speed is at times absolutely ferocious, but the songwriting keeps pace with the technical chaos.
Tracks like βCircus Sapiens,β βThe Best And The Worst Of Times,β and βGottgeburtβ strike a strong balance between relentless aggression and hooks that stick long after the music stops. Inventive riffing and hammering drum work add real depth, pushing the album beyond sheer brutality into something with genuine dynamic weight and momentum.
Thank you
