Drumroll please! 🥁 We are so proud to present our grads of the 2026 ProTrack class! Today we have Maria Alejandra Alcantara Chincaro!
Alejandra Alcántara is a circus artist from Lima, Peru. She is graduating from NECCA with an aerial hoop major and a partner acrobatics minor. With over 10 years of training, her work combines technique, expression, and fluidity, creating visually striking pieces.
When she is not trying to find new ways to get tangled in her hoop, climbing her friends, or being thrown by them, you can find her playing Monopoly or rewatching the same movie for the 20th time.

Starting at a very young age, Savanah has been performing for over 15 years. During her time as a circus artist she has performed with many companies such as Caroline Calouche & Co, Charlotte Cirque and Dance Center, and Legacy Theater and Music Company. At NECCA, she has focused on a multitude of disciplines including, but not limited to, loops, dance trapeze, triple cloud swing, acrobatics, partnering, and her main discipline, swinging trapeze. Savanah looks forward to growing her circus career through performing and hopes to one day channel her creativity and ideas into making her own productions.
