I'm Nash, welcome to N'dulgent! 🎂🧁🍰 🍪😍😋 🙌🏾 If you know me, this will seem crazy but hear me out🤦🏾‍♀️...soooo despite never baking a cake in 36.5 of my 37 years, somehow (well actually I know exactly how but that's a somewhat embarrassing story for another day 🤦🏾‍♀️) I've become a *cough* baker... of sorts (feels wrong even saying that 😬)... but nonetheless I've been baking for the last few months and having lots of fun with it! Far from perfect but learning everyday thanks to lovely friends who have been trusting me to bake cakes for their occasions... or non-occasions (cake is an occasion in and of itself really). 🙌🏾😁🍰 Burning questions❓No, I'm not mumu enough to give up my good-up management accounting job (up for promotion atm actually 🤞🏾🙏🏾); yes, I'm still freelance writing (for very limited clients only so don't ask); yes, I'm still holding it down as a single mom of 2; and yes, I still have an active social life... BUTTTT amidst the madness, I still make time for baking because it's fun...for now at least (don't know about later but life is fluid so watch this space)! 🤷🏾‍♀️😆 So please FOLLOW my page @ndulgent to follow my journey! I'm a bit of a relationship savant as well btw... though you wouldn't know from the car crashes that define my former love life 🤭 ...I can laugh now 🥹). Cake Stenciling: How was this for a first attempt (directed by vibes) 😆?

In this edition of baking failures... I tried a really light, fluffy, ice-creamy frosting (customer LOOOVED it)... but smoothing soft frosting is a NIGHTMARE of unfathomable proportions! 😭 P.S. Pleased to report I've since made adjustments to my tools, techniques and recipe 🙌😁 Every day is a school day in baking! 😫🫩 #GodIsGood
