Not a bad autocross yesterday with @ncrscca at the NCCAR track. A lot of cool cars out there with a track full of great people.
Pat messaged me last year asking about how to get out on track, then I found out he lived locally. Fast forward a few months, he has put together a competitive time trials car for a very reasonable budget and was in contention for the win this past weekend at NCCAR.
The formula is simple, you don’t need to go crazy to have a really fun, reliable and competitive track car. SCCA Time Trials is a great way to step into motorsports.

Attention all autocrossers! We are just 20 days away from registration closing for our October 22nd-23rd events at MCAS Cherry Point. These are our last Solo events of the year, and the Solo team wanted to do something special (and hopefully get a few more drivers to sign up!)
So, if you register for the Saturday event, your Sunday event fee will be $0.00!!! We are offering this to everyone who has already registered, as well as anyone who registers between now and the end of registration on September 17th.
This weekend will be the end of our season, and the last chance to enjoy Cherry Point this year. We are also in desperate need of people to run, organize, and help our autocross program, so this may be the last chance to drive one of the best autocross sites around.
Sign up, bring a friend, and we’ll see you in Havelock in October!
