Last year, Singapore saw 1,531 molestation cases—a 7% increase from the year before. This means that on average, four cases occur every day, often in public areas like nightspots and public transport.
Speaking at the Sexual Crime Awareness Seminar by SPF, Senior Minister of State Sim Ann emphasised the vital role witnesses play in bringing culprits to justice and preventing further harm.
NCPC stands with this call to action. Let’s look out for one another and report suspicious acts immediately.

🚆 The top three locations where outrage of modesty offences were committed were residential premises, public transport networks and public entertainment outlets
💸 E-commerce scams recorded the highest number of reported cases across all scam types, with victims duped into paying for products that never arrived.
