We’re excited to share that NCF has been approved for a $1 million line item in the Massachusetts House budget for FY27. This earmark is a continued vote of confidence in NCF’s mission, momentum, and growing impact. We are deeply grateful to Chair @RepMichlewitz , Leader Michael Moran, and Speaker Ron Mariano for their years of steadfast support and continued partnership in this work. And to Rep. Christopher Worrell (@brochris4boston ) for his continued advocacy. At a moment when sustained investment matters more than ever, this year’s support carries particular significance.

We’re proud to see so many of our folks recognized on the Boston Magazine 2026 Power 150 List, which highlights the individuals driving influence across business, policy, culture, and community in our region. We celebrate NCF Founders Pamela Everhart, Quincy Miller, Rebekah Salwasser, and Corey Thomas; Founding Ally and Advisor Colette Phillips; Advisor Michael Curry; Friends of NCF Bob Rivers and Turahn Dorsey; and NCF Grantee Partners Betty Francisco and Nicole Obi. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! We’re honored to be in community with each of you.

The Disruption Dialogue returns to Martha's Vineyard with a brand new, powerful theme: The Soul of a Circle. This year, we’re centering women whose friendships, mentorship, sponsorship, and shared courage have shaped real pathways to power. Together, we’ll hear from pairs who model what it looks like to lead through relationship. Attendees will leave with a clear charge: identify a woman you will actively support in this season of her leadership, and name how you will show up. Open a door, make a connection, advocate in rooms she’s not in, or be a steady, trusted presence. And then, follow through. Spots are limited. Join the waitlist and be part of a circle that moves leadership forward together, and stay tuned for more details on our inspiring panelists. Link in bio!

Last week, our grantee cohort came together for a powerful session on Campaigns and the Political Landscape, a capacity-building workshop designed to deepen fluency in navigating Massachusetts politics as nonprofits. At NCF, we believe that proximity to power and clarity on how it moves is essential. This work is about ensuring our partners are not just responding to the landscape, but shaping it. Grateful to be in community with leaders doing the work, asking the right questions, and building toward lasting change.

A meaningful moment at the John & Abigail Adams Benefit last night: NCF Founder and Board Director Damon Hart was honored with the Richard A. Soden Public Service Award, recognizing a sustained commitment to community, equity, and public service. Pictured here with Stephen Hall, who has been a supporter of NCF since the beginning, it’s a reminder that this work is built in community. Congratulations, Damon.
