Let’s talk about trust. When you hire a planner or wedding designer, you’re not just hiring someone to coordinate logistics. You’re trusting their creativity, their experience, their talent, and their ability to see possibilities you may not have imagined yet.
For Chantel & Aaron’s wedding in May 2025, the original inspiration was beautiful, but very traditional: straight rows, a straight aisle, folding chairs, and a square mandap we’ve all seen time and time again. Once we saw the ceremony space in person, I encouraged Chantel to stay open-minded. The scenery was too stunning to hide behind a conventional layout, so instead, we designed around it.
We proposed something a little outside the usual comfort zone: an open, round mandap with seating surrounding the ceremony, allowing the landscape to become part of the design. A year ago, not many Hindu weddings looked like this, and it required trust to go in a different direction.
Chantel trusted our vision, and because of that, we were able to create something completely custom and timeless. This is what happens when clients trust their planner/designer and allow them to push the envelope 🤍
