Curated Details – Wood touches
Wood brings a sense of warmth and naturality to a space.
Through its texture and depth, it softens the overall perception and creates a more inviting atmosphere. It can highlight key elements, define transitions or add rhythm to a surface.

Textile artists were selected to bring a layer of detail and poetry to spaces such as Generations, where the intricate weavings of Emma Terweduwe and the delicate, refined pieces of Camille Truyffaut are showcased.
On the ground floor, Maude Sauvage drops a touch of color in the hall, while Emma Terweduwe completes the private dining area with another piece, adding to the carefully curated mix of reused and new furniture and accessories.

The city of Antwerp, with its strong fashion culture and refined reputation, inspired the project’s detailing and atmosphere, shaping the moodboard and color palettewhile bringing fabric, craftsmanship, and elegance into focus.
The material palette rests on a bright base of wood and warm neutral tones, punctuated by bold accents, statement lighting, and sophisticated fabrics by Belgian designers such as Raf Simons and Vincent Van Duysen, as a subtle nod to Antwerp’s distinctive style.

For AG’s “Reinventing the Workplace“ project inAntwerp, working within a leased building meant that the layout & aesthetics were partially guided by the space’s technical constraints, with interventions kept minimal and low-impact. The building’s two contrasting volumes - one in brick, the other fully glazed- shaped the spatial strategy, balancing open, light-filled areas with more intimate, sheltered zones through a subtle dialogue of solid and glazed elements that reinforces rhythm and transversality throughout.

Curated Details – Soft walls
Soft walls introduce a layer of comfort that goes beyond the visual. Through textile materials they bring tactility, improve acoustics and soften the overall perception of a space. Often used to shape quieter zones or more intimate settings, they contribute to a sense of warmth and ease within larger spatial compositions.

Curated Details - Wood Walls
Wood can be a great tool in shaping atmosphere and identity. And when used unexpectedly, it helps create a uniqueness in space.
Beyond its visual quality it introduces warmth, depth and a sense of rhythm that helps structure a space. It can guide movement, define zones and create moments of intimacy within larger environments.

The look and feel was developed through a restrained palette of honest, raw materials, shaped by the existing structure and the budget limit, allowing space to breathe and set a calm backdrop.
Color was introduced with care and intention. Rather than a decorative gesture, it was used as a subtle tool, scientifically linked to emotional response. Cooler tones were selected to support calm and focus, while warmer hues introduced energy and reassurance, each room drawing from a restrained spectrum aligned with its therapeutic purpose. Light followed the same logic, gently adjusted in warmth and intensity to support different forms of care.

The layout was developed in a rational and efficient manner, organized around a central visitor area visuallyconnected to the reception, distributing access to the different consultation rooms. Spaces requiring less naturallight are placed toward the back, while the reception, common areas, and larger consultation rooms arepositioned along the façade, benefiting of exposure and views.Textured glass partitions blur the boundarybetween more shadowed and exposed spaces, filtering views into shifting silhouettes and movement, andlending the interior an almost pictorial quality.

Located on the ground floor of a small residential building in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, the recently opened Circae Polyclinique was conceived to host a multidisciplinary medical center, bringing together various consultation rooms, shared facilities, and a central reception area.
The project sought to balance technical and functional requirements with a welcoming identity, creating a human centred environment, that supports both patient care and collaborative work while offering a distinctive, yet reassuring atmosphere.
