Since 1977, Pat’s Place has been a hometown staple where burgers, enchiladas and chicken-fried steak share the same menu and community comes first. Now owned by local couple David and Heather Larson, the beloved dive continues its legacy as a gathering place for generations of New Braunfels locals.

Though our city is steeped in German heritage, on Saint Patrick’s Day, we all celebrate the luck of the Irish. In New Braunfels, the heart of the Saint Patrick Day celebration takes place at the epicenter of the event in our only Irish pub, Calahan’s. Current owners Jay Beringer and Phillip Nauert said they welcome the party and love hosting one of our city’s biggest celebrations.
