Our beer starts here on Ugandan soil, where the ingredients that make it unique are born. We work with more than 9,000 direct local farmers to achieve this. Since 2018, we have trained 100% of our farmers to be skilled, connected and financially empowered. As a result, everything they touch turns to gold.

Last week, we hosted a delegation from @nextmediaug for a strategic discussion to explore areas for mutual collaboration. The meeting provided a valuable platform to identify shared priorities, discuss partnership opportunities, and explore practical avenues for collaboration that can deliver meaningful impact.
This engagement marks an important step in strengthening the relationship between our institutions, as we continue working with like-minded partners to drive sustainable growth, responsible consumption, and positive societal impact.

Today, we joined the Coalition Against Illicit Alcohol (CAIA) Round Table to strengthen the fight against illicit alcohol in Uganda.
Our focus for 2026:
✅ Coordinated national response
✅ Stronger inter-agency collaboration
✅ Evidence-based advocacy
We remain committed to coordinated action, technical advocacy, and partnerships that protect consumers and communities.
As we celebrate with family, friends & community, look out for each other. The best stories are the ones everyone can tell tomorrow.
Enjoy responsibly.

This Easter weekend is about making memories with the ones who matter most. Don't risk those moments by getting behind the wheel after a few drinks. Let’s keep our roads safe for every family traveling this season.

Hon. State Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives David Bahati paid a courtesy visit to Nile Breweries, where he was received by our MD - Nkanyiso Mncwabe, Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs - Emmanuel Njuki, and District Manager Davidson Wadada.
Discussions centred on combating illicit alcohol, fair taxation, and expanding the business value chain, particularly in agriculture.
Over the weekend, our team took part in the #RunForTheNile26 Marathon held in Jinja City, bringing together over 2,000 runners in a collective effort to protect the River Nile and Lake Victoria.
This year’s run was focused on raising funds to support the replanting of approximately 247 acres (approximately 100 hectares) of the degraded Mayuge forest and expanding the installation of plastic trap gates across key drainage channels in Kampala and Jinja that feed into Lake Victoria and the River Nile.
Water is the number one ingredient in our beers and a shared resource for the communities we serve. Supporting the Run for the Nile is a natural extension of our commitment to being responsible stewards of the environment. From improving water efficiency within our breweries to supporting nature-based solutions like these forest restorations, we believe that collective action is the only way to secure these water sources for future generations
