Got a little fixated on this woman from the @emiliapetrarca NYT story about Milanese “sciura” and had to make one, used about ten different glazes in the process
Skipped the glaze on this (seat excepted) and tried rutile wash at cone 10 — wanted to keep all of the finger & tool impressions on the clay (which glaze usually covers & fills). Very hard to capture this color though, the lighting in my elevator was most accurate
