Mothers are the original storytellers and writers of our time.
Not only do they create the story of you from the womb to the day you’re born, they also write out the building blocks that become the foundation of your life and hopefully live to tell it… over and over again. 🥹
Although it’s a huge blessing it’s an even greater responsibility 💗
Being a mother isn’t just about providing.
It’s about becoming and unbecoming. Learning and unlearning and being okay that you may never get it right but still always try.
Becoming a mother changed me in the best ways! I I feel so blessed to be able to experience this life as a mom. I’ll never be too proud to say sorry, too cool to dance with you in public or too closed minded to not listen and understand your feelings 🎀
Through it all, I wouldn’t change a thing.
2016 is the reason I can rest now in my mommy era.
I did it all, I wore it all and my waist was missing through it all. I ended up finding it after I had my baby but that’s another story. 🤷🏾♀️
I’m so happy I enjoyed my youth before the internet made having fun an aesthetic. 💗✨💅🏾
Also, this was the year I met your father. But that’s another story too lol 😘
I can’t believe how much time has gone by. Sometimes, I have to pinch myself because we are the new adults and I find that INSANE.
Maybe that’s how generations before us felt but never said out loud. Regardless, the surreal feeling subsides when I can look back at all the core memories I made along the way. Memories I didn’t think would matter in the moment but now I see they really do.
Just a gentle reminder to film it all. No moment is too insignificant or small when you’re looking back at it all.
I was in my second trimester in the first vid and now my principessa is ONE. 🥹💗
