“JUMPING INTO SPRING” ¹A visual exploration project inspired by the spring season— capturing the essence of renewal, growth, and vibrancy that defines this time of year. ²Through a combination of color palettes, typography, and imagery, I aim to convey the freshness and vitality of spring. Soft pastel hues like blush pink, mint green, and sky blue evoke a sense of tranquility and new beginnings, while incorporating various dynamic composition and organic textures to symbolize growth and transformation. ³I also incorporated floral motifs, leafy patterns, and playful illustrations to further enhance the springtime theme, infusing the designs with a sense of natural beauty and optimism. By intertwining visual elements that embody the spirit of spring, my project seeks to evoke emotions of joy, rejuvenation, and a connection to the natural world. . . . “AWA” “AWA” is a Filipino cultural value that describes a persons ability to have, “…a deep sense of shared suffering”. Although awa may be commonly interpreted as “compassion” for those who recognize this filipino cultural value, usually family oriented— I interpret it to be as an act of selflessness; and I hoped to solidify and represent that idea through the barong tagalog and its relationship to the Delano Manongs and their contributions to American history | | | || Created by Ivan Medida - NAVIADIDEM

"STOP PROCRASTINATING" Procrastination is a universal experience, with this work more curated for the typical high school or college student, I hoped to capture the ‘essence’ of academic life—the overpacked schedule, balancing multiple disciplines or commitments, feeling burnt out, and all that comes with it. If this piece resonates with you in some way, whether it’s the reasons why we procrastinate, the overflowing number of tabs, or the struggle to learn how to budget. This piece was made with the intention of spreading the message that we’re not alone in this experience. | | | || Created by Ivan Medida - NAVIADIDEM
