Chester is a theater-computer science double major with plenty of musical experience including being a member of Mixed Emotions A Cappella (@mixedemotions_vt )! He enjoys mixing very unique concoctions and loves his girlfriend a whole lot. We’re very excited for him to join us this semester!

Ready to kick off the semester on a high note? SPRING auditions are finally here! Whether you're a beginner singer or a seasoned performer, we want to hear what you’ve got.
🎶 What to Prepare: Please bring a verse and a chorus of a song that best highlights your vocal range and style. Since we are strictly A Cappella, no instruments are needed! If you have beatboxing skills, be ready to drop a freestyle for us.
No sign-ups are necessary. Just show up! We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before to fill out a quick form and get settled.

Spencer Forsling passed away on December 3rd, 2025 as a result of a car-pedestrian accident.
Since joining Natty in the Fall of 2023, Spencer devoted himself to making the group better, taking on work in everything from marketing and social media to editing concert videos and fundraising. During the 24’-25’ school year, Spencer was our Treasurer, where he oversaw the finances behind two successful concerts and the recording of a new album. This past semester, he led the group as our president.
Beyond his leadership, he was known for his selflessness and care. Ever approachable and ready to talk, he would be there to help his fellow brothers without a second thought, often with little regard for himself. Spencer always adopted an “everything-will-work-out-fine” attitude and loved sharing his optimism and enthusiasm for life with anyone and everyone. Through countless photoshoots, late night drives, and outdoor adventures, Spencer showed us that the key to happiness lies in giving to others.
Spencer cared deeply about the people and passions in his life. He was an artist, a researcher, a guitarist, a photographer, a collector of plants. You would see his eyes light up as he talked about the things he loved. His care and enthusiasm shined through everything he touched, and it continues to live on and inspire us even as we mourn the unimaginable loss of our friend.
Please join us at his celebration of life at The Inn at Virginia Tech on January 31, 2026 at 5 pm.
