As the storms of life approach, the eagle has the innate, uncanny ability to allow the winds of change to lift it HIGH above the storm. Instead of letting the storm defeat it, it uses the storm to its advantage and the turbulence is used strategically to help it to SOAR. What's your storm today? What situation is creating turbulence in your life?
As we celebrate all our Saviour accomplished for us throughout this Easter holiday remember that He too had to allow the turbulence to carry Him. He came to His own and His own received Him not. His own shouted "Crucify Him"! The crowd arose against Him vehemently. He did not fight the crowd. He did not fight the turbulence. It carried Him straight to the cross.
He succumbed to the abandonment, the degradation and the torture for us. He suffered through it all...for us. He fought not against the wind of change as He saw those who once followed Him turn against Him. His own denied Him, but yet. He too allowed the winds of change to help Him to SOAR HIGH above it all. He was lifted high above the earth, battered, bruised and broken but yet wholly fulfilling His Father's will.
And on the third day the ultimate level of elevation came. After the gruelling death on the cross, buried in a borrowed tomb, He AROSE and He lives forever. Seated at the right hand of the Father, he ever lives to make intercession for us. The suffering was not in vain. His royal blood was not shed in vain. There is always an endgame. 🎶He arose, He arose

Read the resurrection story today in the four gospels starting at Matthew 26- 28. Allow your heart, mind and spirit to be elevated and enlightened through the Word of God. There IS life after death but only through Jesus Christ our Saviour. There is power in the Blood of Jesus💪

😊*Thought For The Day* 💡Ingratitude is a very unattractive feature in one's character, especially as a believer in Christ.
In every thing give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18.
I will bless the Lord at ALL times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth~ Psalms 34:1.
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright ~Psalms 33:1.
O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: for His mercies endureth forever~ Psalms 136:1, Psalms 118:1.
Murmuring, complaining and ingratitude played a huge role in what kept the Israelites going around the wilderness of Sin for 40 years in a journey which was only supposed to last 40 days.
After the Lord had given them a mighty deliverance by the hand of Moses from Pharaoh's Egypt, they found dissatisfaction in just about everything.
Generations perished in that wilderness experience while God raised up a generation of fearless warriors who were not afraid to take the bull by the horns. Enter men like Joshua and Caleb. He's still calling young men because they are strong~ 1 John 2:14. Not even Moses himself was allowed to set his feet on the promised land. He only viewed it from a distance. *Scripture References* ~ Exodus 16. The whole of Numbers 14, verse 34 says a lot & Deut. 34:4 are just a few. One can find many opportunities for learning this particular lesson from Exodus all the way to Deuteronomy.
So just think! How much further would we be in life in seeing God's vision for our lives fulfilled if we were a more genuinely thankful people??? Pray MORE, complain LESS. If we would pray more & criticize less, we might have less to criticize~ Derek Prince🙏
Simply reflecting. Let's be mindful to give God thanks in everything: the good, the bad, the ugly, the indifferent. Might not feel like it or appear that way at times, but all things are still working together for our good~ Rom. 8:28💃
