One of the most exciting dates in the horticultural and events calendar is almost here… the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London which is held on the banks of the River Thames The world’s most famous flower show aims to inspire, educate and excite visitors about horticulture. This year, the Natural Green Creative Spaces team is proud to be building and dressing two stands for a client exhibiting at the show. Behind the scenes, it is all hands on deck as the team prepares installations, planting schemes, structures and finishing touches ahead of opening day. From workshop builds through to florals, foliage and final styling, there is a huge amount of creativity, craftsmanship and coordination that goes into bringing these spaces to life. Music venues are increasingly about more than what happens on stage. At KOKO in Camden, we have just transformed the rooftop terrace from its festive look to a new spring installation featuring blossom and magnolia. Attention to detail always shows. We were proud to sponsor the 6.50pm race at Warwick Racecourse, where Jane Warmington judged the Best Turned Out Horse. The winner: Hollywood Harmon, ridden by Miss Pippa Brown. While the judging took place in the paddock, over in the main event space our freestanding living and faux wall was drawing just as much attention, with racegoers stopping to take photos and spend time in the space. A simple addition. A noticeable difference. Our freestanding living and faux wall at Warwick Racecourse last week quickly became a focal point for racegoers, with people naturally drawn to the space to pause, connect and take photos. That’s the role of good design. Not just to look good, but to shape how people experience a space. Paired with structured planting, including round bay trees and layered foliage, the installation added depth, movement and a more premium feel to the racenight environment. The best event spaces do more than look good. They create moments people want to remember and share. At this year’s Randox Grand National Festival, Natural Green delivered planting across the entire Aintree site, from hospitality areas and marquee rings to parade rings, entrances and public spaces. For Ladies’ Day, we also designed and installed three faux branded backdrops for the Style Awards, sponsored by Debenhams, helping create a standout setting for one of the most talked-about parts of the festival. With thousands of guests capturing photos throughout the day, these installations had to work just as hard on camera and social media as they did in person. The Detail Makes The Difference At premium events, it is often the smallest details that make the biggest difference. For Salon Privé London at Royal Hospital Chelsea, the team delivered a variety of solutions including white barrier troughs filled with lush palms and green and white planting, floral table centres, an impressive 150 metres of hanging foliage throughout the space, statement bar vases and the beautiful faux statement wall. The result was an event environment that felt softer, more polished and more luxurious.
