So, youre thinking about booking me for your next production, e-commerce, commercial or headshot session and you want to "get to know me" or maybe you found me through @mangomarketing.co and you're like "who really is Natty?" Well, here's some of the "basics" I'm in Philadelphia but handle gigs in New York City, Baltimore, DC and anywhere really. I like to travel so if it's travel for work that's great, too. I am an Arab American (Gemini if that's important to you) and I believe in equality, science and inclusion. My kit is tightly packed and filled with things to handle all skin textures, skin tones, ages and genders. I offer light hairstyling. My website has information more and including some blogs. I love glowy skin and to teach makeup education. Yeah, so, that's me..but not entirely so let's chat (when you hire me wink wink)

Wow! Yesterday I had the honor and opportunity to teach 10 stylist at @sagehaircollectivephl (and @silhouettehaus ) makeup to add as a service at their salons. This made me feel like I was back with @japonesque teaching and helping with @saloncentric vision for a well rounded beauty industry. When their owner @wendyreneehair allowed me to build them a starter kit - I was a kid in a candy store. I wanted to lead with multi purpose, longevity and hygiene as top of mind. Thank you to @sagehaircollectivephl and @silhouettehaus because I had the time of my life with you all. I hope I got your minds turning and made makeup approachable. Can't wait to do this again! 🖤 Also, shout out to @lawwh.ren for being my model!

I’m proud to be Lebanese. I’m tired of being Lebanese. I’m stronger because I’m Lebanese. I’m softer because I’m Lebanese.
 Every time this happens, someone messages me, “OMG DO YOU HAVE FAMILY THERE?!” While yes, we do, family has been pushed into the diaspora more and more. But more importantly, why is family the only reason to be upset that someone is bombing your culture’s homeland? 

Then it made me realize that many Americans actually don’t have a connection to their homeland. They know where they come from, but they don’t have a connection to their family, to their land, to their cultures because of years and years of colonization they've done to others. They don’t understand the need to smell cedar trees, taste olive oil, and dance with your family to music that you grew up listening to. They don’t have generations of making recipes where everyone’s teta makes it slightly different, but your teta makes it the best.
 Please stop asking me if I have family there. Please stop asking me, “Well, have you ever been there?” Please stop asking me for education. Please stop telling me you’re thinking of me. While this is new to you, this is not new to me. This has always been the problem in West Asian and North African countries. We have always had people take our oil, our resources, our land. We have always had to be third culture kids. We have always had to move more and more into the diaspora. None of your questions actually matter. Action is the only thing that will change, and sadly I don’t know if there is action left.
