Is this too much or too little iron for breakfast?

We had to disassemble and reassemble the shelf we built the other day! Something that was supposed to only take about 2 hours ended up dragging out till 11pm. The shelf was just too long and it just wasn't able to squeeze into the storage room due to the room's size and immovable objects.
When we were disassembling the fully built shelf, we put all the screws and nuts into this little bowl and @changu.exe jokingly used the 2 screwdrivers to mimic chopsticks, pretending to eat the screws. It was so funny! I had to photograph it! But that did make us finish rebuilding the shelf in the storage room later than we hoped for.
We wanted to do a few other things but it's alright. We had so much fun!

I think I understand how to move my camera intentionally to create the visuals I want. Now, I want to use one more aspect of photography to apply it to this technique. The only thing stopping me from doing so is just procrastination. If I say I have other things I want to create using different mediums, that's just an excuse.

This is such a huge shift from what I normally do. I know that some might not like it. Right now all I'm doing is practicing this technique and trying to understand how this shows up my photography. Right now, I'm just learning, just like how I did when I first picked up photography. I am so excited to see what else it can show me, and what I can show you as I soon start to implement it to what I usually do.

I used to tell myself to not use my phone for photography. I was hoping that by doing so, I would utilize and bring my camera out more often.
At first it went well. Bringing my camera out with me as often as I could. But soon, I started focusing my photography in one area and I stopped taking along my camera wherever I went and only brought it out with me when I had a project I wanted to do.
Feeling that I've been losing my touch with the medium I fell in love with, I have changed my mindset on this. Now, I am using my phone to take photos of anything that I want whenever I do not have my camera with me. It doesn't matter what it is. I can no longer limit myself to a single aspect of photography.
I've discovered more from not limiting myself. Photography with a phone is so different and interesting. I will continue to grow and become a better photographer.

Sometimes all you need is just a single light source. You don't need some crazy set up. I've been working with just a single speedlight and I have learnt so much with it.

For the past few years I've been stopping myself from bringing out my camera to photograph. It didn't come with a built-in-flash which made me dread bringing it out with me. I did consider getting a small compact camera but I just didn't have the funds to get one for what I wanted.
Late last year I felt really frustrated that I wasn't shooting more often and I convinced myself that my first camera would suffice. Despite it being bigger than the size I hoped for, I am glad that I had it.
This was one of the first few times I brought it out with me, a date to the dinosaur exhibit at Science Center. Nothing fancy just simple photographs throughout the day. But it brought me so much joy just being able to shoot again!

Walking out of the Omni Theater at Science Center and spotting this scene made me want to capture the liminal feeling I felt from it. It took me a couple tries from different angles before I settled on this shot.
I've been fascinated by how certain spaces feel liminal and how others are able to capture that feeling in an image.
I can't say that I fully grasp the concept behind it.
I also struggled choosing what colors to use. And to be honest I don't feel that I got it right for this.
I'm still proud of it! I will be happy to hear what I could have done differently to really bring out the feeling I was hoping for.

Not everyone is going to get it. I just have I accept it. It pisses me off so much that this is just how things are. Nevertheless this is one of my favorite shots.
