Another first on my NYC adventure 🎭✨
My lovely new NY friend @kristincarlson4 invited me to her theatre singing class - big YES! And of course, we get handed sheet music for Believe by Cher (another sign from the universe… my lifers know!!).
We sang and learned it together before getting the chance to do a
16-bar cut solo… Well, I’m here, so why not throw myself in? I chose “Tell Me, Ernest” from Death Becomes Her - naturally 💁🏼♀️
Felt the fear, did it anyway!! Swipe across to see me awkwardly and nervously (but joyfully) sing my way through 👀
Then, I had the pleasure of meeting the incredible @natsycharle an immortal in the @deathbecomesher ensemble who also understudies both @meganhilty and @thejennifersimard (and slays every role she touches!).
Natalie so kindly took the time to listen to a recording of me singing - feedback from someone of her calibre meant the world.
With her enthusiastic, encouraging nod (and smile of approval!), I’ve joined a community theatre group, started with a vocal coach, and I’m officially on my Musical Theatre journey
To my family and friends, I know, I know, “We’ve been telling you, just do it!! …for years!!” Well… sorry I didn’t fully believe you 🫣😂

I got to Natalie on all three of my trips to DBH, including seeing her as Helen in April!!! Natalie was absolutely zany as Helen and I enjoyed every minute of her being iconic ❤️ I cannot wait for our stepmother to become a MUTHUAR, I know she’ll be a great one!!! 💕💕💕💕
Natalie won’t be away forever, she plans on coming back to Viola’s mansion in June. 💓💓💓
