Artillery: because sometimes "over there" needs immediate attention 💥
The Kainuu Artillery Regiment and Ivalo Border Jaeger Company 🇫🇮 conducted training and artillery firings at the Vuosanka Firing Range during Northern Strike 26.
Over the past week and a half, progressively advanced fire operations and fire direction have been conducted in unusual firing positions to enhance their teamwork, readiness and experience in the field.

Yesterday, the first parachutes over Bornholm opened at 04:45. In the early morning hours, a large number of Polish soldiers landed at various locations in the southern part of the island.
In the coming days, units from Poland 🇵🇱 and Denmark 🇩🇰will train together in the largest exercise on Bornholm in recent times. The purpose of the exercise is train different scenarios that could take place, with the objective of defending Bornholm.

During exercise AURORA 26 - Swedish and Allied forces are swiftly transported to secure the strategic island of Gotland. The island plays a key role in the defence of the Baltic Sea and NATO's Eastern Flank.
A country's ability to receive Allied troops and equipment is vital to sustaining coordinated defence, reinforcing strategic positions and ensuring rapid response in times of crisis or conflict.
