(This caption is so sappy omg) I’m so incredibly grateful that I got to see Charlie Cox again today. When I walked into the photo op, his whole face lit up. He remembered me and gave me a great big hug (besides the one pictured) when he saw me. We talked about daredevil costumes in the rain and crochet. Apparently he still has the first Matt MurDUCK I made him (in the care of his kiddos) and commented on how much I’ve improved with the new crochet duck I gave him today. I also got to see lots of friends today, laughed a lot, met new people and so much more (which I’ll post later) My mental health has been through the wringer the last two weeks or so (including today) but I’ve been trying my best and all of the people I talked to today really made life feel so good despite it all. Rooftop nights are my new favorite thing! - SPOILERS FOR DAREDEVIL BORN AGAIN SEASON 2, EPISODE 1: BE CAUTIOUS OF THE POST, CAPTION, AND COMMENTS - - We are off to an amazing start with episode 1! I was honestly a little nervous when I first started watching the episode but after it got going and it ended how it did (🔪) I was SO EXCITED for this kickoff for the rest of the season. In no particular order, here’s what I’m most excited for: • The fight sequences we are getting (MORE ONERS! And they’re so freaking brutal this season!!) • Matthew Lillard as Mr. Charles- I have a feeling his character is going to be so important and such a fun mystery to unravel. I’m so stoked that he’s a part of the Daredevil world now! • BULLSEYE’S ARC- OH MY GOD I CANT WAIT FOR MORE DEX AND MORE OF HIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT • Whatever the HECK is going on with Heather- @margaritalevieva plays this version of her so freaking well. It’s incredible. I’m so excited for more. • More Buck!! I feel like he’s as brutal and determined as Wesley was and it feels like we’re going to get to see more and more of that this season. SPOILERS ‼️ I saw that red suit and knew what was coming! Technically, in the comics, Matt wears this suit for the first time (that the reader sees) that he practices law AFTER he reveals that he was Daredevil. I got an inkling of what was to come in the last episode of Daredevil: Born Again and I loved that the red suit from the @markwaidwriter and @chrissamnee run made a tasteful appearance! ✨Absolute Cinema✨ - 🚨‼️ DAREDEVIL SEASON 2 SPOILERS FOR ALL EPISODES STARTING ON SLIDE 3- Beware posts, caption, and comments‼️🚨 - Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is complete and it’s finally time for me to share my thoughts (that no one asked for but that I do want to share). Before I get into my list of what I liked and didn’t like, I want to say that I did love this second season. Is DDBA as good as the original Daredevil show? In my opinion, no, it’s not. But I still thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m so excited to see how the story continues. Bashing differing opinions or being an a-hole won’t be tolerated here. I can see how some people might not like the show. Here are my thoughts! ❤️: What I Loved - Seeing some faves from the original series come back (Jessica Jones, Wesley, Luke Cage, and Brett Mahoney to name a few) - The amazing action sequences, my personal faves being the breakout oner in episode 3 and the diner scene in episode 4. - The cinematography and play with symbolism. The dying roses foreshadowing Vanessa’s death, the blood splattering and tearing of “rabbit in a snowstorm” and the parallel fight scenes in season 8 were beautiful. - Buck and especially Daniel: my beloveds. - The acting!! Especially from Charlie, Vincent, and Deborah - Every look Matt had in episode 8 *chef’s kiss* - Episodes 5, 7, and 8 specifically: I loved the flashback scenes in the style of the OG Daredevil and just everything happening in episodes 7 and 8 - Seeing more character arcs for Bullseye, Heather, Kirsten, Buck and Daniel 🍽️: What I want more of - Matt Murdock: He really wasn’t in it that much for a show about Daredevil. I would’ve liked to see more of his struggle and process. - BB Urich: I think we’ll get more next season, but I want some more development on her! - Longer/ More Episodes: I think I just miss the old format where we had more time to explore characters and storylines. I think that would help fully fledge out some things in the show. I also wish they dropped all the episodes at once - Spoiler Control: So many spoilers came from major outlets and the official daredevil page. That was super frustrating and just felt gross.

Matthew Murdoch and Francis Castle take the Renaissance Faire ✨ - - I saw a Renaissance version of Matt Murdock that appeared in the 1602 comic and I KNEW I had to make a version of him come to life. I used the comic version as a base, made a few creative choices to make it my own (adding the emblem, changing his weapon of choice, etc.) and felt so freaking cool today running around with @buffbeltran and his Renn Faire Frank!
