For us making ferments for the garden and ferments for the stomach gets confusing they are so similar.
So are microbes in the soil and in the human stomach. Both the human and soil microbiome share a large percentage of the same microbes.

At no time before the Green Revolution would growers and farmers ever buy seed each year. Seeds would be kept at the end of each season, carefully dried and saved to ensure the next season would be plentiful. Seed varieties would be passed and traded between farmers and families, viewed as precious resources that held life-sustaining potential.

Long but satisfying day on the farm. @lovefarmoxford is a special spot that grows food for food banks and other groups in the area. We get paid to. As consultants and workers to help grow the most nutrient-dense foods we can in the most earth-positive manner that is possible.
The management has plans for 2026 that include involving the local health services and inclusion hubs to teach about food, connection to earth and how essential it is as humans.
Only once in a life time do you get to be involved with projects like this 💚
We've been asked to supply Worms, wormscastings, and volcanic rock dust and various natural farming inputs for the farm and are more than happy to do so.

Some thoughts about how we talk about natural systems. The first contradiction can sometimes be that nature is complex but not complicated, how can that be?
Tips for educators & advocates in the regenerative / natural world spaces. Complicated vs Complex 🦎

Kill your lawn… It’s a vanity project.
@nativebiotauk is working on a collection of counterculture garments for the sustainable space. The design work and ideas are simple and easy to come up with.
What isn’t so easy is producing the garments in any other way than fast fashion.
Even with organic garments made from different cottons, produced ‘fairly’ and ‘responsibly,’ with labels claiming earth care and other punchy marketing bollocks, we are still just churning out new, new, when the world already has enough of everything available.
So we pulled them and are going back to the drawing board.
We are looking forward to reliable, A1-condition second-hand t-shirts for our first look into how we can reuse and repurpose the huge amount of second-hand clothing available.
We are currently picking up single garments that are appropriate, but do you know of any other ways of getting garments (t-shirts/hoodies/workwear) in bulk without buying blind? Let us know. For now, we have pulled everything in an effort to understand how we can avoid adding more shit to the pile.

Six workshop sessions.
More faq’s than we can remember.
A ton of books sold and countless connections made. That was just the Korean Natural Farming topic.
So much more great topics discussed and talks watched, people met and bonds made.
What a thoroughly nourishing weekend. Thank you @ballaghmicrofarm@zerosoappaste and of course @theorganicgrowersgathering . 🙏🏼💚🌱
