Some recent film photos of me, and an intro for those of you who don’t really know me.. pretty sure I haven’t done one of these in like, four years haha :)
I was born in St. Augustine, Florida- mostly grew up in Savannah, Georgia. I moved out to the Seattle in 2015 on a whim (best decision of my life), lived there for 3 years, and have been on the road ever since 🛻
I have a deep love for nature, hiking, exploring, backpacking, and travel. Getting into the outdoors quite literally changed my life, in the best way 🌲
I also enjoy playing music. Mostly guitar, some piano, some singing, random stringed instruments, etc. Music has been a big part of my life for a long time, and I’m grateful for it 🎸
I’ve been working for myself full-time since 2018. Photography / video sustains my travels 📷
I’ve shot digital most of my career, but have recently gotten very into shooting analog film. It’s been really refreshing, and has brought me back to why I started shooting in the first place 🎞️
I currently live in an old truck camper. It’s a Bigfoot 6’11 mounted on a 2000 Toyota Tundra, and I love it to pieces. Life on the road is a grand adventure, I’d recommend it to anyone who has an interest 🐢
Some of my favorite places on earth are the Cascade Mountains (Washington State), Big Sur (California) and the sprawling red rock desert in canyon country (Utah) 🏔️🌊🏜️
Anyways, thanks for following along! I appreciate you all more than you know ☀️ Also, where are y’all from?
A couple mornings back. I’ll admit, it’s quite hard to wake up for sunrise every day here.. but it really is worth it 😴☀️ | Sony A7V + Contax Zeiss lenses
Sunrise to sunset in Yosemite National Park, a few days back. The range of beauty you can experience here in one day is mind-boggling. Granted, this day was pretty special. Rainbows, wildlife, sun, fog, an almost full moon..
Kayaking last week in Yosemite National Park. My first time on a kayak in years, and definitely my first time doing so here 💫 Was really cool to see this place from the water, lots of fresh perspectives!
Yesterday in Yosemite. Finding more joy in shooting everyday type of moments lately. Always fun to get the hero shot, but.. I’m starting to think older me will appreciate the effort of documenting these memories (and the people that fill them) a bit more 🏞️ Also been having a lot of fun with the Fujifilm GFX 50R. Been adapting some old Contax Zeiss glass- truly a wonderful combo.
