Just have the first brake bed-in ride around town in on it so far. I can’t say what it feels like on the trail yet but I can say that from just jibbing around town hitting staircases & stuff it’s got a great weight balance and feel and has me really excited to see what it feels like on the dirt.
Couple obvious questions:
“Why’d you get the lowest end model?”
— Because I knew that no matter what build I got I’d be stripping all the parts off anyway and I already had all the XTR parts, fork, shock, wheels, etc..
“Where are you going to ride it since you’re not supposed to ride them on Forest Service land?”
— Spence mountain trails, Applegate lake trails, MOTR trails, Motorcycle Riders Association land/trails. Prospect OHV area. Downieville. In short.. there are places…
And, no, I’m not an e-bike convert. But they are super fun to ride in addition to regular bikes 😁
If you’re in the Ashland area this bike will be hanging out at my shop
@handlebarashland most days while I’m there. Come check it out if you want!!
