Now letâs be real for a second.
If you havenât started planning your next calendar year yet, youâre already behind.
Brands that hit the ground running in January are already building that momentum now.
So grab your coffee, block out an hour, and letâs get your strategy together. Decide whatâs working, whatâs not, and where you actually want to take your brand next year.

Social media is not an afterthought, itâs a brandâs first impression.
Thatâs why I built NatGal Creative: to provide the strategy, creativity, and support teams need to grow without burning out.
Hope this finds anyone feeling stuck or burnt out. Itâs just about asking for help in whatever way works for your situation.
If you grew up watching Friday the 13th way too young⌠this event was made for you đđŞ

âCleanâ doesnât mean boring.
And it definitely doesnât mean forgettable.
Social doesnât kill brands.
Playing it safe does.
The brands that win build a world, not just a product.
Color. Character. Community.
This is what happens when you let creativity lead.
AI is a tool. People are the point.
At NatGal Creative, we choose real faces, real collaborations, and real human connection. Every time.
AI has changed marketing, just like video once changed radio. But in beauty, technology should enhance the story, not replace the people telling it.
We use AI for insights, reporting, and performance optimization. Not for replacing models, creators, or the real-life texture of makeup on real skin.
Beauty marketing works best when itâs human-led, creator driven, and rooted in authenticity.
AI wonât replace beauty marketing, it will support it when used intentionally.

Social media managers know itâs not just about content calendars and pretty feeds. Sometimes, itâs about weathering storms you didnât create.
I once managed social & customer service through a popular brandâs boycott đ Every post, DM, and comment felt magnified. The hardest part wasnât the volume, it was the responsibility of carrying a brandâs voice when trust was broken.
Hereâs what I learned:
- People want transparency, not perfection.
- Silence makes things worse.
- Staying human in your response is what keeps the door open to rebuilding trust.
Crisis moments arenât fun, like at all, but they teach you more about brand reputation, social strategy, and community management than any viral post ever could.
It takes a team to launch products.
⨠Meet Josie Huescaâ Creative & Strategic Product Development. Josie and I first worked together at HipDot, sheâs been a colleague, friend, and someone I continue to look up to in the beauty space.
With over a decade of experience spanning from hair, nails, and makeup PD, Josie brings incredible creativity and industry knowledge to everything she touches.
Iâm grateful to have her in my circle and to continue learning from her journey.
What I learned about brand collaborations while running social media at HipDot:
Some collabs = massive wins.
Other collabs not so muchâŚ
The biggest takeaway? Not every collaboration is worth it.
đ Social media marketing works best when collabs align with your community.
đ Partner with real fans who already love the brand or IP.
đ Donât chase hype, build authenticity and strategy first.
For anyone working in influencer marketing, social media strategy, or brand partnerships: focus on alignment and authenticity if you want collaborations that sell and resonate.
Meet the Team.

Transformed into a creature for the first time đ§ââď¸đ§ââď¸ Thank you @ciciandersen for making me a mix of Lost Boys & Buffy for @veneillvampireweekend Vampire Ball.
Doing socials for this event was a totally new experience, grateful to be apart of it and sit in the @syfyfaceoff panel - this show really kick started my love for makeup and convinced me to go to makeup school, try onset work (learned I hated it) and redirected me to corporate/creative. Shout out to my sister in law for getting me into @sexyhair where my eyes and mind GREW wide open with possibilities Iâd never been privy to.
Thank you @tommybrunswick for trusting me with this project
@therealve for mentioning my name and bringing me along đĽšđđźâ¤ď¸ like, What?!?
