This spring semester, Isaiah Kennedy (@cleat.art ) played an important role in supporting our Fellows and Teen Art Lab students as CAM’s Graduate Studio Intern, offering feedback on student work, managing the space, and helping new young artists become acclimated into the CAM studio culture. Having practicing artists working alongside students creates meaningful opportunities for mentorship, conversation, and creative development.
Thank you to the Tennessee Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts for their “Special Opportunities: Arts Forward” grant that allowed us to create this role with Isaiah in supporting the young artists in our studio!
