I grew up in church, pretty much a PK for most of my childhood, So gospel music has always been at the core of who I am. For a while, I really thought I’d be a quartet gospel singer… and honestly, I even had my lil moment doing just that lol. Those roots still live in me, the cadence, the runs, the feeling…you’ll hear it woven into my music. This one is no different, Silly Goose is heavily inspired by the quartet gospel sound!
This new song leans more into a pop vibe, but still carrying pieces of where I come from, Milwaukee to Tupelo… All of it shaped me. And don’t worry… I’ve got some songs on the way that go all the way back there, and I can’t wait for y’all to hear those ⚡️
But for now… we’re outside, we’re having fun OH GOOD LORD! ⚡️
