I thought a 20 photo carousel was ridiculous until I tried to pick one photo per month to commemorate my fifth year sober, and couldn’t. A lot of amazing things happened this year that absolutely wouldn’t have happened if I was still drinking. This collection is for me really, to remind me of the childlike joy found amongst the big adult achievements of this year. Five years feels crazy and impossible, and at the same time almost-dare I say-easy, and just right. Starting with slide 2: 2. Jan. Showing off some Chinese Pole slide marks. 3. Feb. Booked a commercial for which my footage never got used, but I drove to Brooklyn in a blizzard, met nice people, and did the thing. 4. Mar. Went to a trade show in Orlando, fell in love with and made the responsible decision NOT to bring home this dog. 5. Apr. Ran away to the circus for a week and participated in an inclusive aerial teacher training - focusing on learning to teach to all body types, because circus is for everyone. 6. May. Found the perfect courthouse suit (I also did so much in May like go to Germany but some adventures make less pictures. Read: adventures without Rachel 😅) 7. May. Dim sum with cousins who are family and chosen family all at the same time. 8. Jun. Experienced the most epic bathtub of all time. 9. Jun. Worked with friends! (JUST friends?) 10. Jul. Best bachelorette party ever. 11. Jul. Went to Ithaca, took home some of Hannah’s hydrangeas ❤️ 12. Aug. Trampolined for the first time. 13. Aug. Work trip — showing Rachel Vegas. 14. Sept. Working on our chuppah. 15. Sept. Got married once! 16. Oct. Got married twice!! 17. Oct. City Challenge Race (my third!) with the cutest mother-daughter, mother-daughter team. 18. Nov. Welcomed tiny Ramona. 19. Nov. Another commercial! This time in London! 20. Dec. New Years Eve looks different than it used to. And honestly? I had a blast.

SURPRISE ✨ A month ago, a few days before our big celebration….. we got #GayMarried at the New York City #Courthouse NYC is home so we made it legal here, in a little secret ceremony with just a few witnesses. In 2020, Nat and I had the privilege of witnessing Tony and Jess’ Central Park wedding as 2 of 5 people in person. They returned the favor for us which was deeply special since we were so close to Miss Ramona’s big debut 🩷🌈 I cannot say enough about the team of people who made wedding week possible for us. Here’s the second half of my celebration of my fourth year of sobriety. Who am I kidding when I say maybe I’ll post more in 2024? I’ll probably be too damn busy ;) 1-5. Is for Portugal, another amazing trip I am so lucky to have taken with family. Long story short: In 2010 my Aunt was in an accident which prevented her from taking me on the graduation trip she had promised — in 2023 she said, let’s make up for it! And bring your fiancée! A better gift could not have been asked for. 6. Second year of the city challenge race with @occaputo and @katecaputo68 7. Another amazing wedding, and another amazing dress. 8. Celebrated this most wonderful human and got to spend more time with her — we may have been brought together by loss but I’m so grateful now to know her ❤️ 9. Actually got in a hoop thanks to Ankole Circus 10. Found a wedding dress! And so much more! Now, on to 2024!
